How Has Technology Change the Way We Live?

Technology is the only thing which has brought us from the world of bullock-carts to the world of space shuttles. It has transformed messenger pigeons into Yahoo Messenger and Gtalk. Technology has made it possible for people on Earth to communicate with astronauts out in space! Sundials have been replaced by Atomic clocks and human babies are being created in test-tubes! Developments in technology have made it possible for us to clearly see viruses and even atoms as big as a billionth part of a meter, and at the same time estimate our distance from stars trillions of kilometers away!
Even half a century ago, when computers were unheard of and mobile phones not yet conceived, the lives of people were mostly confined to a few meters around them. Today, social networking websites have made it possible to make friends halfway around the globe and support political protests in foreign countries with the click of a button. Microwave ovens and 3D television have become as ordinary as water and the sky and people no longer need to be even in the same continent to strike multi-billion dollar business deals.
While we argue over parking spaces and political leadership, people are getting ready to set their feet on Mars. Could our lives have become so without technology? Brace yourself: Access MSN, Yahoo, AOL, Gtalk Online Without Installing in PC
